Three cheers for the Winterfest Wine Tour Experience. Come celebrate the best of Long Island’s wine country, with a tour of three top East End wineries. Then, once the sun sets, wrap up your evening with two tickets to our Live at the Indigo Ballroom series, where we’re pairing our Executive Chef’s specialty dinner menu with the music of Matt Marshak.
Here’s your chance to experience wineries that are serving up wines that set Long Island apart from the rest of the world. You’ll not only enjoy amazing wine and grow your palate, but you’ll learn a little bit about what it takes to make award-winning wine right here at home.
Here’s what’s on the agenda:
The tour’s first stop is boutique vineyard, Clovis Point Winery. At just 10 acres, this renovated potato barn is located in the heart of the North Fork. Clovis Point proves every season that with only 10 acres under vine, you can still create award-winning wines with character and balance on a small scale.
Our next stop, Martha Clara Vineyard, was also a potato and horse farm before Robert Entenmann decided to turn the land into a vineyard. Since then, this winery has continued to grow award-winning grapes. And their beautiful tasting room makes for the perfect place to show off some of your recently acquired wine tasting knowledge.
Finally, we’ll visit Jamesport Vineyards. Three generations of the Goerler family make this locally owned vineyard a true labor of love. Boasting a 60-acre vineyard that produces 4,000 cases of wine per year, you’ll find this award-winning label on tabletops throughout Manhattan and Long Island.
After the tour wraps, join us back at Hotel Indigo for our Live at the Indigo Ballroom event, part of the 2018 LI Winterfest. Our Live at the Indigo Ballroom evening includes an exclusive dinner menu and the music of Long Island favorite, Matt Marshak.
Then, after you’ve sampled all of the exquisite regional wine and taken in the live entertainment, you can relax Sunday morning with our breakfast at Bistro 72. Our package includes your overnight reservation for two at Hotel Indigo and breakfast on Sunday.
