Sep Fink’s Farm Fall Family Fun

Fall is one of the most exciting times of year on the North Fork. The famed vineyards of Long Island Wine Country are harvesting their 2016 vintages, our lush foliage is evolving into bright reds, yellows, & oranges, and the farms are presenting some of their most delicious crops of the year. Besides picking up fresh produce, there are so many other activities to celebrate the season at our local farms.

Fink’s Country Farm Fall Festival

Each year, Fink’s Country Farm (6242 Middle Country Rd, Wading River) invites Long Islanders to join in on the Fall fun. Hayrides, a giant corn maze, a combine slide, and a bounce house provide hours of fun for the kids. They can interact with the barnyard animals at the petting zoo, pig races and calf roping. There are also character appearances from 11-4PM.

Additional attractions include face painting, pony rides, a corn cannon and pumpkin slingshot, a kiddie train, and Fall photos. And of course, no farm visit during the Fall is complete without pumpkin picking! The U-Pick pumpkin patch is open to festival-goers only and the exclusive access allows you to pick your favorite pumpkins directly off the vine.
