Downtown Riverhead Shopping
Eating local has never been easier than in 2014, as local farmers and vendors along with the Town of Riverhead, organized a weekly market in the former Swezey’s in Downtown Riverhead. The market, which ran Saturdays from 11am to 3pm, from February 1 to May 17, has been moved outdoors at the same location, and will operate throughout the Summer and Fall. Enjoy Chef’s tastings, and local products from vendors like the Long Island Mushroom Company, Mecox Bay Dairy and Moustache Brewing Co.
East End Arts
East End Arts is also having a bunch of events for Memorial Day Weekend! On Saturday, they’ll be holding an Artisan Showcase Series featuring Jo Packard, One-Stroke Painter from 11-3pm. There will also be a North Fork Premiere Indie Film Showcase on Saturday at 7:30pm for The Human Scale. The 18th Annual Community Mosaic Street Painting Festival will be going on Sunday from noon-5pm.
