Spread holiday cheer by throwing a party for your loved ones or coworkers at Hotel Indigo. We’ve hosted everything from weddings to birthdays to corporate events, so we’re experts on throwing a good party. Just follow these simple tips and we guarantee your guests will have an unforgettable experience:
1. Give guests something to nibble on
What’s a party without a great spread? At Hotel Indigo, food is our passion. We offer 3-course plated dinners, buffet-style dinners, or more flexible chef-manned dinner stations that can serve sliders, pizza, pasta, and much more. Our Head Chef can create a custom menu to match your unique vision. If you don’t wish to invest in a full meal, we can curate light hors d’oeuvres as well. For drinks, open bar packages featuring our finest local wines, beers and spirits are also at your disposal.

2. Pick a venue with enough space
You’ll want your guests to have room to mix and mingle. Hotel Indigo’s ballroom can fit, at maximum, 250 people for a cocktail-hour-style gathering. If you prefer to do a seated dinner with dancing, it can hold up to 170 people. For more intimate affairs, we have a private dining room that seats 20 to 50 people. Parties smaller than 20 can reserve a table at our restaurant, Bistro 72, and we can set you up with a custom prix fixe menu.

3. Decorate
Themed decorations will take your party to the next level. Luckily, for the holidays Hotel Indigo comes fully decorated. There’s no need to find flowers for your party; we already have seasonal centerpieces ready for each table. We also come equipped with full audio/video capabilities. Play a simple slideshow containing photos of your attendees to make the party more festive and personal. Themed to-go treats can help set the tone for the party, too. For the colder months, we recommend our holiday-themed hot chocolate stations. Guests can build their own cup of hot chocolate, adding things like mini-marshmallows, caramel squares or shaved peppermint and take the cup to go.

4. Entertain them
A little music goes a long way at a party. We have a roster of local musicians and talented DJs on hand if you need recommendations–or bring your own favorite band. Other fun ways to entertain guests include photo booths or setting up games around the space so that guests can get to know each other better.
