LI Winterfest is keeping the performances coming with amazing bands and musicians, and it’s only getting better. When you think of the greatest talent to come out of Long Island, what comes to mind? You may be thinking Billy Joel and you’re right! While we don’t have Billy Joel, we do have the next best thing playing right at Hotel Indigo East End. It’s the Cold Spring Harbor Band, who specialize in music by the one-and-only, Billy Joel.
This Saturday, March 7, from 7 pm to 10 pm, join us at the Hotel Indigo Ballroom for an evening of dancing and singing!
Cold Spring Harbor Band Featured at LI Winterfest
Cold Spring Harbor Band differs from any other tribute band because they perform in a chronological tribute to the life and music of Billy Joel, which is sure to take you on a trip down memory lane.
Pat Farrell, vocalist and pianist of the band, sounds and performs just like Billy Joel. If you close your eyes you might not even be able to tell the difference. But it is not about imitation, it’s about the dedication and passion to Joel and respect for him as a Long Islander and musician.
The Cold Spring Harbor Band roster is made up of a diverse group of multi-talented gentlemen. A teacher, doctors, sales manager and real estate agent by day, talented musicians by night, the band, along with Farrell, includes Tom Staab, Steve Siracusa, Paul Tuthill, Nick Cangemi, Peter Salvato and Robert Goebel. They play an array of instruments including guitar, saxophone, and percussion.
LI Winterfest and Hotel Indigo
Since 2006, Hotel Indigo East End has been participating in the wondrous events of LI Winterfest. The gathering of friends along the East End bonding over Long Island music makes the festival more special. Over the years, we have seen LI Winterfest develop from a community event to the top music festival on Long Island.
Cold Spring Harbor Band has been a staple of LI Winterfest for a number of years and we are excited to welcome them back to our Ballroom.
