Mar LI Winterfest Live on the Vine 2016! ONLY 3 WEEKENDS LEFT!

It’s three weeks into the 9th annual Long Island Winterfest and we can’t help but take a moment to take in what a success it’s been so far. We’ve had an eclectic mix of performers live at the Indigo and are looking forward to the talent that will take to the ballroom in the coming weeks.

Opening weekend we jammed to the sounds of renowned Paul Simon bassist Bakithi Kumalo who brought friends along and turned Hotel Indigo into a celebration of sound. It was the perfect start to the five week festival.

How did we follow-up up Saturday night’s show stopper?–with harmonies, melodies and mimosas. The Late Show’s Gospel choir, known for making several appearances on David Letterman’s show, took over Hotel Indigo’s lobby where we served a soulful Sunday brunch that was electric. It captivated the attention of people in and outside of the hotel and it was definitely a memorable performance.

The following weekend, the East End went country with a performance by local country favorite Six Gun. The band showcased a variety of songs and had the crowd line dancing through the night.
