On Saturday, September 30th from 1pm – 4pm, we pay homage to an ages old Bavarian tradition with our Ode to Oktoberfest. Get ready to ring in the festivities where the brew will be flowing and live music will keep you going.
Warsteiner Premium Beer is sponsoring this event so you not only get to enjoy the taste of their thirst-quenching beer but you also get a free souvenir stein filled with Warsteiner beer with your ticket purchase.
Travel to Germany without leaving Riverhead as you will have the chance to experience their virtual reality booth for the tour of a lifetime to the village of Warstein where Warsteiner has been brewed since 1753.
The Warsteiner Masterbrewer takes you to the Hallertau hop region and the Arnsberg forest where the purest water is sourced from for this perfectly balanced German beer.
Just put on the headset and relax for a beautiful journey to Germany. All participants will receive a surprise at the end of the tour! The fun continues with Warsteiner presenting a traditional keg tapping ceremony and a mug holding contest. It wouldn’t be Oktoberfest without Polka music. Smitty’s Polka Band, a NYC-based variety act whose name has become synonymous with Oktoberfest, beer gardens and good times will take the stage.
With good times, come great food. Bring your appetite as the kitchen of Bistro 72 will be serving up traditional German fare.
Tickets for this event can be purchased on ticketfly for $15 and $20 at the door.
