17 Sep Sing Along With Smitty’s Polka Band At Ode To Oktoberfest
When the Festmeister shouts “Zussamen!”, German for “Together!”, it’s time to sing along with Smitty’s Polka Band at our Ode to Oktoberfest! On Saturday, September, 1pm – 4pm, we’re taking you back to bier halls of Munich as we host Oktoberfest-inspired bash featuring a Bavarian menu by Bistro 72, Warsteiner beer, and live music by one of New York’s best Oktoberfest bands, Smitty’s Polka Band.
The band has been a regular on the Oktoberfest circuit since 2014 with a set that knows no boundaries. From authentic German “Biergarten” songs, sung in German and English to pop hits, their authentic and creative instrumentation, costume, and vocals will have you shouting “Prost!” (Cheers!) all afternoon! Besides great food and music, Warsteiner will get the party started with a traditional keg tapping ceremony. There will be a mug holding contest, too, so start practicing. Also, Warsteiner will bring virtual reality headsets, so you can take a “tour” of the village where Warsteiner is brewed.
