Hotel Indigo and Bistro 72 would like to thank everyone who came out for our first East End Craft Beer Festival on Friday, April 17. Tons of friends from all over the island came out to celebrate the locality of craft beer, food and more! We would also like to thank the participating vendors for bring their flavors to the fun!
The Fun of the East End Craft Beer Festival
No matter where you turned at the hotel, there was something going on. Before you could walk in the door, Crooked Ladder Brewery’s fire truck was parked offering samples of their Riverhead crafted beer. The outdoor set up also included Hampton Cigar Company selling their unique handmade cigars and an open bar from Bistro 72. Brew Crew Cycles of Riverhead was there showing off their bar inspired bicycles.
Stepping inside, Murph of Murph’s Famous Bloody Mary Mix in Rockville Centre came all the way out for the festival and shared his delicious mixes. Bistro 72 has recently crafted a Bloody Mary brunch menu with Murph’s mixes, LiV Vodka and Holy Schmitt’s Horseradish, which both attended the East End Craft Beer Festival.
As guests dined, both inside and outside by the fire, singer, song writer and good friend, Cassandra House, strummed her guitar matching her elegant voice.
Finally, heading downstairs to the ball room was like stepping into another party. American Cheese Artisanal Cheese Shop greeted guests with their finest meats and cheeses, while North Fork Chocolate Company cured that sweet tooth.
The family band, Mile to Dayton had guests dancing throughout the night as Montauk Brewing Company, Condzella Hops, Backyard Brine Pickles, Lenz Winery, Twin Fork Beer Co. and much more served their finest libations and fare throughout the night.
The tremendous success of the first East End Craft Beer Festival would not be possible without friends and neighbors coming together to share the tastes and flavors of Long Island’s fresh ingredients.
