Raise a glass, or two, to Long Island Winterfest. On March 10, join us for the second annual Winterfest Brewery Tour Experience as we celebrate Long Island and some of the East End’s best breweries.
Designed with the beer lover in mind, this experience won’t just quench your thirst for great craft beer, it’ll quench your thirst for beer knowledge as well.
And, beer isn’t the only thing on the menu. After the brewery tours, continue the celebrations with our Live at the Indigo Ballroom dinner and the music of Cold Spring Harbor.
Here’s how the day looks:
First stop is Greenport Brewery, where college friends and brewery founders John and Rich are living their dream of bringing good beer to great people. Here, you’ll get to taste local craft brews that have been featured in the Village Voice, Newsday, TimeOutNY, and the Wall Street Journal amongst others.
When your glass is empty, we’ll head to the Jamesport Farm Brewery to continue your hops education. Jamesport Farm Brewery highlights their farm to pint brews using ingredients grown on-site and others sourced from local farmers on the East End. Fun fact—Jamesport Farm Brewery earned Gold in Dan’s Best of the Best 2017 Readers Choice Awards for Best Brewery. When’s the last time you tasted gold?
Finally, we’ll head back to Riverhead where we’ll stop for one more taste of full-flavored craft brewed goodness at Long Ireland Brewery. Founders Dan and Greg handcraft all natural beer at this young microbrewery. Here, it’s clear there’s a passion for creating great beer and equally great memories. These guys stick to the beer basics of water, malted grains, yeast, hops and a few spices, turning a modest recipe into mighty taste.
After the brews, return for some grooves. Back at Hotel Indigo, enjoy our Live at the Indigo Ballroom event, including a wonderful dinner menu and Long Island’s favorite tribute band, Cold Spring Harbor. As a Billy Joel tribute band, Cold Spring Harbor performs cover songs that are sure to keep you rocking all night.
And when Sunday rolls around, relax in the morning with a delicious breakfast at Bistro 72.
