Jun Best of the South Fork: Must-Visit Hamptons Restaurants

In our last post, we took a look at some of the best restaurants on the North Fork of Long Island. We’re not shy about how much we love the East End, or about how important we believe it is to support local businesses in our community. When you come out to Hotel Indigo East End for a fabulous weekend getaway, we want to make sure you have easy access to a great collection of places to visit; that’s why we’ve also put together a list of must-visit South Fork and Hamptons restaurants!

Westhampton and Hampton Bays Restaurants

Beach Bakery Café

We know you have to eat more than just dinner, which is why we needed to make sure you know about the Beach Bakery Café! This adorable little European-style bakery is stuffed with sweet treats to start your day off with a smile. Grab a croissant, muffin, bagel, or any goodie that tickles your fancy!

Starr Boggs

If you’re looking for someplace quaint, cozy, and intimate, Starr Boggs is your place to be. They’re open Thursday-Sunday from 5:30pm—perfect for dinner during your weekend getaway. Enjoy some local wine and fresh seafood in their beautiful garden dining area.

Oakland’s

Hang out at the great outdoor bar on the expansive deck at Oakland’s! Have some drinks and take in the sunset as you dance the night away to the live music. The East End is all about the ocean, and there are few places better to appreciate it than at a gorgeous marina like this one.

Southampton Restaurants

Delmonico’s of Southampton

Bringing the essence of Delmonico’s flagship Manhattan restaurant out East, and giving it a little seaside twist, Delmonico’s of Southampton offers an incredible menu that focuses on the fresh, locally sourced ingredients of our area. They boast an onsite chef’s garden, from which they gather fresh herbs and vegetables for a truly farm-to-table experience.

BLT Steak at the Capri

The atmosphere at BLT Steak is casual chic, and with both indoor and outdoor seating options, you’re guaranteed to enjoy your stay no matter what your preference. Although they offer a delicious full menu, if you’re looking to just grab a bite and enjoy the sun, their outdoor bar and lounge areas and small plates menu is the perfect choice to make.

The Tuscan House

This beautiful, classic Italian restaurant isn’t just a great place for lunch and dinner; you can make a whole day of your experience at the Tuscan House when you attend one of their Sunday cooking classes with the wildly popular William (Billy) Oster.

Bridgehampton and Points East

The Lobster Roll Restaurant

As they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, which means The Lobster Roll Restaurant must’ve done something right 49 years ago. They were the first to ever serve lobster rolls, which have since caught on like wildfire. Stop in for a taste of Long Island history (and a lobster roll or two, of course!).

Fresh Hamptons

If the sound of a private chef’s garden caught your attention, you’ll definitely have to visit Fresh Hamptons. Chef Todd Jacobs has had a passion for vegetables since he was young, and is an experienced restaurateur. Having previously owned Tierra Mar in Westhampton Beach and Atlantica in Long Beach, he’s returned to the East End to relish in the amazing local produce in abundance around us.

Nick and Toni’s

The passion for Tuscany runs deep on the East End, which is evidenced by the Mediterranean and rustic Italian influenced meals that come straight from the large wood-burning oven at Nick and Toni’s. Taking advantage of the offerings of local fisherman and farmers, Nick and Toni’s delivers fresh meals that warm both your tummy and your heart.

And there you have it! Some of the best eats in the East! Book your weekend getaway at Hotel Indigo East End today by calling us at (631) 369-2200. We can’t wait to see you!
