Pellegrini Vineyards
Bob and Joyce Pellegrini formed Pellegrini Vineyards in 1982 with the intent to make the very best wine on the North Fork. Today, they produce a range of award-winning wines. Innovative winemaking techniques such as the use of gentle punch-down methods during red fermentation, a two-barrel aging process and careful monitoring and control of moisture levels throughout the vineyard, lead to a consistently rich bottle of wine. See their table at the Winterfest Kickoff then check out their Winterfest event on February 25th from 1pm – 3pm featuring live music by the Jack Morell Quartet ($25/person, includes a glass of wine) and February 26th from 1pm – 3pm featuring music by Danny Kean and Friends ($25/person, includes a glass of wine.)
Clovis Point Vineyards
This Jamesport vineyard started up in 2001 and has been making great wine ever since. The logo adorning the bottles are Clovis points, thousand-year-old stone tips added to spears that were discovered in the North Fork area. Clovis Point is holding several events in honor of Winterfest. On February 25th from 7pm – 9pm, drink wine and see the Red, White and Blue Band ($25/person).
