Long Island Restaurant Week is back this Fall, running from Sunday, Nov. 3rd to Sunday, Nov. 10th, 2013. Bistro 72 is excited to be among the restaurants participating this year. Long Island Restaurant Week is a bi-annual and award-winning event that showcases the fabulous food being served all over Long Island. All of the featured restaurants will be serving their own, unique menus with a minimum of three appetizers, three entrées and three desserts, all for $27.95, served all night except Saturday, Nov. 9th, when many restaurants are ending the promotion at 7pm for the evening. This gives the restaurants an opportunity to impress new customers with their expertly prepared dishes, and gives consumers an opportunity to get out and try something new without breaking the bank.
Everybody wins during Long Island Restaurant Week! Restaurateurs are able to take advantage of the free press across social media outlets, and encourage visitors to share their positive experiences online. Consumers can use Long Island Restaurant Week as a source to discover restaurants they hadn’t known about, and wouldn’t have regularly tried. Steve Haweeli, President of Long Island Restaurant and Marketing Hospitality Group, reports that the event anticipates over 250 participating restaurants. “With more than 2.8 million residents and 1,000 restaurants with varied cuisines, concepts and price points, it is no wonder why we started the highly anticipated Long Island Restaurant Week which continues to flourish,” Haweeli says.
