In celebration of Long Island Winterfest’s four-week festival of music, food, drinks and fun, we’ve decided to participate in an exclusive brewery tour on Saturday, March 4th. Drumroll please, we give you The LI Winterfest Brewery Tour Experience. Start your March off right with a unique tour crafted to give you a taste of the beer brewed on Long Island’s East End.
Greenport Harbor Brewing Company
First stop, Greenport Harbor Brewing Company’s Greenport Village location. You’ll be able to taste a variety of beer produced at this local brew house. The brewery debuted in 2009 and now their beer is available in over 200 Long Island and NYC locations.
Long Ireland Beer Company
2nd Stop, Ireland. Long Ireland Beer Company that is. Greg Martin and Dan Burke have been distributing their brew since 2009, operating their own brewery in Riverhead since 2011 and continue to expand. In 2015, they produced over 4,000 barrels of beer. You’ll get to taste a sampling of their beer and also take a behind-the-scenes tour of the brewery.
Crooked Ladder Brewing Company.
On the third brewery stop of the tour, you will get to try an assortment of Crooked Ladder’s brew. Located at 70 West Main Street in Riverhead NY’s historic downtown area, Crooked Ladder brews a diverse variety of fresh, handcrafted beers. Their beers can be found at hundreds of locations across the Island, and available at their brewery & tasting room by the pint, beer flight, growler or keg. Crooked Ladder’s premium tasting room bar is always full of craft beer lovers (and tourists) that give their place a friendly and relaxed vibe.
Digger’s Ales N’ Eats
Tasting East End beer can build up an appetite and what better place to cap off a brew tour than Digger’s Ales N’ Eats for dinner. The tour includes a 3-course prix fixe dinner that comes with one draft beer.
